I am Anishinaabe-Michif (Bois-Brûlé, Wiisaakodewinini, Métis, etc.) and a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation. I am crane clan and a direct descendant of the Bottineau family. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies from University of Manitoba and a Master of Arts in History from McGill. For the last decade I have lived throughout the greater Great Lakes region, bound to this place by culture, community, and responsibility.
